A private school does not have public bathrooms.
Not to mention that the claim was that both of these were a result of same-sex marriage being legalized, but the private school with unisex bathrooms comes from an Aug 2006 article, and SB777 became law in October 2007.
Same-sex marriage in CA became legal on May 18, 2008.
Oops.

>> As we found in the hollywood movie Chuck and Larry, people can pretend to be gay to get certain things.<<
Many employers already extend things like benefits to civil unions and partners. If anything, I think legally recognizing the marriage would give people an opportunity to pause and think about whether they want to enter into this very important decision, since they have to show greater commitment to it.
>> There is no way to tell if the boy going into the girl's bathroom is really gay. I think that this will increase the sexual assault and rape numbers in California, especially in the school age individuals. This is like handing over permission to have sex in the bathrooms. Teen pregnancy will go up, and a lot of people will end up in counseling. <<
I am not familiar with this idea of gay marriage = ONLY COED BATHROOMS. Gay people are attracted to members of the same sex; that doesn't mean they won't use a bathroom with members of the same sex, or that they'd even want to use the bathroom of the opposite sex. (Certainly the last time I was in South Station, the women's room was still labeled as such.) Anyway, many establishments already have unisex bathrooms -- and I can't count the number of times I've seen women slip into the men's room because they didn't want to wait on line in the men's room. In college, my dorm had only co-ed bathrooms; it was a decision we all agreed upon. It was not a big deal. If someone is going to have sex in a public bathroom, I don't think they're going to worry about if it's the men's room or the women's room.
Anyway, I think you're confusing the issue of transgendered people wanting to use a bathroom of their choice (or those unsure of their sexuality/transitioning not being forced to identify one in public) with homosexuality. Transgendered does not = gay.

She is making the all California public bathrooms are unisex due to the legalization of same-sex marriage bit up out of whole cloth.
I just read your post and found several of your points interesting.
