You do realize that America is rapidly deciding that McCain is incoherent when it comes to our economy, right? McCain's numbers are falling off a cliff this week.

McCain's numero uno economic advisor, Phil Gramm, is the guy who namecalled Americans a "nation of whiners" in a "mental recession" in response to the well-founded worry that what is happening would happen. Phil Gramm is the guy who architected the deregulation that led to the current crisis.

And McCain is the guy who calls himself a "deregulator" who is "always against regulation." McCain is the guy who has been all over the map, even this week when he started out by saying our fundamentals were strong.

And McCain is the guy who told the Wall Street Journal he doesn't know anything about the economy.

And his VP, by the way, who he picked as an electoral stunt thereby placing America at risk, is really scary when it comes to the thought of her taking the reins in this crisis.
