Bush/McCain's trickle down economics is a bust. Obama supporter John Talbott is for bottom up economics. Here he is on the Countdown. Worth the time:

Talbott lays out Obamanomics, his book: http://www.amazon.com/Obamanomics-Bottom-Up-Prosperity-Trickle-Down-Economics/dp/1583228659/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1221879794&sr=8-1
Here, by the way, is more proof that Talbott is spot on, as if we didn't need it after 8 years of stagnant wages for everybody but the rich culminating in the current economic crisis:
"The stark contrast between the whiz-bang Clinton years and the dreary Bush years is familiar because it is so recent. But while it is extreme, it is not atypical. Data for the whole period from 1948 to 2007, during which Republicans occupied the White House for 34 years and Democrats for 26, show average annual growth of real gross national product of 1.64 percent per capita under Republican presidents versus 2.78 percent under Democrats.
That 1.14-point difference, if maintained for eight years, would yield 9.33 percent more income per person, which is a lot more than almost anyone can expect from a tax cut."
It's no wonder that Obama's economic advisors include former Fed Chair Paul Volcker, self-made richest guy in America Warren Buffett, and Bob Rubin, former Treasury Secretary under Clinton. In contrast, McCain's chief economic advisor is Phil Gramm, the architect of the financial deregulation that precipitated the current crisis.
Today out-of-touch McCain called the SEC, or Securities Exchange Commission, the "FEC", aka the Federal Election Commission. Earlier in the week McCain said the fundamentals of our economy were strong, then he was against the bailout, then he was for a bailout and by today he admits our economy is not strong. McCain admitted earlier to the Wall Street Journal that he doesn't know anything about economics, only to later falsely deny he said it. Don't feel badly if you are confused - you are not alone.

*** The greedy Republicans, you see, are getting what the naughty little children get.
Elected? LOL!
*** Next time when you go out to dinner, don't bother, you can get your own beverage, and dinner too.
LOL! Sorry...I apologize to all of the waitresses out there who are Mensa members and nuclear physicists.
*** Are you aware that many "underachieving" waitresses are putting they way through college by waitressing?
Sure...and some are wannabe-actors too. And? Those folks that waitress as a transitional job while they're educating themselves aren't looking for government handouts...just good tips.
*** My son's GF is a waitress part time to supplement her full time job as an advertiser for a Furniture store. She has a 4 year degree, but she wants to pay off her student loans quicker. I wouldn't call watressing underachievement, some can make 300 a night at the more fancy Restaurants.
Careful...Obama might consider her "rich" and screw her out of her hard-earned money.
*** Republicanomics- I love myself, I have higher morals than you, I work hard sitting behind my desk on my behind, pushing pencils around,I can lie and cheat my way to more money, that's why I'm successful, as long as I don't get caught. I could care less if you can suport your family on the salary I pay you, just get a second job, maybe a third, cause I only care about myself. But I am a Christian!
Democratomics - Is there a problem? Sure I'd love to help...go see the Republicans over there, they'll pay for it. Values and morals? Heck, don't look at me, go see the Republicans for those, as long as I get to abort my children I'm all good. Taxes? I don't cheat on my taxes...because I don't pay any taxes. I let Republicans work hard and then wait for Obama to give me their money. Whaddya mean it's not fair...my minimum wage job and welfare check only go so far...someone's gotta make my trailer payment, and the Republicans are so "rich."
