Fear of what might happen

All I hear and read from John McCain is how we must fear what will happen if Barack Obama is elected.
The problem is that all the bad things that have happened over the last eight years and continue to happen came under a Republican president. Before Bush took office, 9-11 had not happened. Back then, gasoline cost about $1.50 a gallon. Food prices and everything else was pretty tolerable. But then Bush was elected and ever since that time things have been going down hill in this country.
I do not fear what might be under Obama more than I fear what has been and will be continued if McCain follows Bush into office.
McCain supports all of Bush’s policies. So voting for McCain is like extending Bush’s term for four more years.
I do not think this country can survive four more years of George W. Bush. That thought scares the hell out of me.

Where do you want the "chocolate people" to go - that's all I'm asking - do you want them coming to your neck of the woods...

*** you know when he released all the poor mental patients you know when he released all the poor mental patients and Vietnam vets who evidently had worn out their welcome

They became Democrats...which begins to explain how Obama got the nomination.

Let's don't forget, Bush Sr.'s involvement. It actually goes back to him. Clinton had barely gotten into office, when the USS Cole was attacked. Clinton let bin Laden slip through his hands, but so has GW Bush, as did Bush Sr. Clinton left the economy in good shape. It didn't take GW long to make a mess of it. Much of today's economic problems go back to Reagan and his trickle down economics. Economists tried to warn politicians the plan wouldn't work, and predicted what would happen. Greed has superceded concern for what's right, for many, many years.

I'm so tired of people bringing up Clinton's sexual escapades. He didn't do anything virtually every president before him didn't do! Read a history book, or a biography of these guys, to see most of them were anything but virtuous. LOL, we've even had a gay president. I wonder how the religious right feel about that! Denial, would be my guess. One president even had his mistress living in the White house! I really don't give a rat's behind what they do in their spare time. I only care about how they are running the country.

No, Clinton did not leave the economy in good shape. Which is hard to believe with the internet boom, but he was able to tax it into submission. Remember when the Nasdaq crashed?

And Clinton did nothing about the attacks on the WTC, USS Cole, the embassies, etc...
