Fear of what might happen

All I hear and read from John McCain is how we must fear what will happen if Barack Obama is elected.
The problem is that all the bad things that have happened over the last eight years and continue to happen came under a Republican president. Before Bush took office, 9-11 had not happened. Back then, gasoline cost about $1.50 a gallon. Food prices and everything else was pretty tolerable. But then Bush was elected and ever since that time things have been going down hill in this country.
I do not fear what might be under Obama more than I fear what has been and will be continued if McCain follows Bush into office.
McCain supports all of Bush’s policies. So voting for McCain is like extending Bush’s term for four more years.
I do not think this country can survive four more years of George W. Bush. That thought scares the hell out of me.

I don't judge if someone's marriage is working or not. That's for them to decide, not me and not you!

As usual the attack was on Clinton. I was educating you on the fact there have been president's, not just other men,
When a conservative has been one upped, they can't admit it. They have to pretend they can't be bothered. LOL, poor conservatives.
BTW, Republicans have admitted they went after Clinton as pay back for Nixon. Of course, some conservatives would never admit that was the truth. They would admit to being less than perfect, and they could never do that! Horrors, the thought of them actually playing dirty politics...like that's something new!!

The big problem is the President is one person, and he can't get anything unless congress votes yes on anything he wants. So lets put the blame on the right individuals. Bush didn't get us here, as everyone knows the last president that was in office makes alot of policy with the approval of congress on the federal budget and there alot of checks and balances that are in-place so that one person can't make all the decisions. It takes approximately 6to 8 years after a president leaves office for his policies to take affect and have any impact on the economy. With a Democrat in office like Obama it would be a runnaway train cart blanch for congress and Obama to push through anything they wanted. Remember when Nancy Pelosi said after congress gained Democratic advantage over congress that we should just watch that they will do more in the first 90 days than Bush has done in 8 years. Well I have not seen them accomplish one thing except go on vacation even when they know how bad things are. Seems to me you are affraid of the wrong people. I am terrified of the whole Federal Government they do not care what we think is important if they did none of this would have happened in the first place. They are all so out of touch with the real world it is rediculous. Did you know that some of the richest people in America are politicians, and they get to vote on their raises and you or I can't do that. Oh by the way they are all paid very well to have meetings and waste alot of time on things that really don't affect them but allways affect us.Plus they don't have to really show any type of accomplishments they can allways blame it on the President or the other party. Did you ever wondwe why 98% of the politicians are lawyers? It is easier to be a politicians than it is to be a lawyer. You have to work as a lawyer, but you don't as a politician. So I truly think we are screwed no matter who gets elected, our tax dollars are going to bail out all the private finacial institutions so they (the politicians) don't loose their money that they have invested. Thats the big secret they all have lots of their own money invested in these companies and thats why congress is working on using our money to bail them out. So who are you affraid of now??? Thats why I am not affraid of the next President like I said he is only one person we have an entire congress of crooks that we have to worry about.
Thanks BDH.
dablacksox,
Who do you think are the rich and powerful are? They are the ones that run our country today. Some of the richest people in the country are in congress. And who are they saving? What people have the money to invest in these finacial institutions that are privately traded companies, the rich. So whos money and investments are they saving their own so you should not be affraid of Ron Paul you should be affraid of all these baby kissing politicians that have other intrests instead of their noble saving these institutions for us. It doesn't affect me if they went out of business, because I don't have any money invested in them. So before you blame certain politicians like Ron Paul who I think has it right just think of those 98% of the extremly rich politicians that are happy to spend your hard earned money to bail out another privately held company to save themselves from loosing millions that they have invested. If we didn't pay income tax to the federal government they would not have the money to blow on these companies and they would mandate a regulatory system to avoid this type of problem form ever occuring.
Thanks think about it!!!
However, had there been a truly free market to begin with, the crisis wouldn't have come.
This is not true.
