Sacredness is in fact held to be enhanced in proportion as truth decreases and illusion increases, so that the highest degree of illusion comes to be the highest degree of sacredness.

According to Real Clear Politics McCAIN is up by 2 points in Florida. (a tie) Obama may have a few points on him TODAY on those topics, but overall Florida is a tossup leaning McCain.

Well, it's a good news. However I wonder how do these polls get conducted in the first place. Last night FOX news showed McCain leading in Florida..I don't remember by how many points cause I was half asleep while watching.

Actually Obama is only ahead in those three categories in Florida. This form of propaganda is called "stacking the deck" because the facts omitted are the results of the entire poll which shows McCain up by 2 points (an essential tie - leaning McCain).

Unless Obama has a double digit lead over a number of polls, I won't believe it.

Oh, I know......outliers and all....but this is the first time any major poll has had Obama up in FL in a while. And, when combined with McCain's slide nationally recently, I thought it was worth noticing/mentioning.
