From Dreams of My Father, “ I FOUND A SOLACE IN NURSING A PERVASISVE SENSE OF GRIEVANCE AND ANIMOSITY AGAINST MY MOTHER’S RACE”. Barack Hussein Obama

From ‘Dreams of my Father’, “The emotion between the races could never be pure, even love was tarnished by the desire to find in the other some element that was missing in ourselves. Whether we sought out our demons or salvation, THE OTHER RACE (WHITE) WOULD ALWAYS REMAIN JUST THAT; MENACING, ALIEN AND APART.”Barack Hussein Obama

From Dreams Of My Father: “That hate hadn’t gone away,” he wrote, BLAMING “WHITE PEOPLE — some CRUEL, some IGNORANT, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives.” Barack Hussein Obama

From ‘Dreams Of My Father’, “There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs,” he wrote. “It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your LOYALTY TO THE BLACK MASSES, TO STRIKE OUT and name names” Barack Hussein Obama

Although Obama spent various portions of his youth living with his white maternal grandfather and Indonesian stepfather, HE VOWED THAT HE WOULD ‘NEVER EMULATE THE WHITE MEN and brown men WHOSE FATES DIDN’T SPEAK TO MY OWN. IT WAS INTO MY FATHER’S IMAGE, THE BLACK MAN, SON OF AFRICA, THAT I’D PACKED ALL THE ATTRIBUTES I SOUGHT, the attributes of Martin and MALCOLM, DuBois and Mandela.”

He added: “To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. THE MARXIST PROFESSORS and structural feminists.”

“There was something about him that made me wary,” Obama wrote. “A little too sure of himself, maybe. AND WHITE.” ‘The Audacity of Hope’, Barack Hussein Obama

“THAT GHOSTLY FIGURE THAT HAUNTED BLACK DREAMS.”- Barack Hussein Obama, ‘ Audacity of Hope’

"Nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people.' Barack Hussein Obama.

THEN THERE’S HIS ADMIRATION OF ISLAM:

Quote from Barack Obama’s book, Dreams Of My Father:
“THE PERSON WHO MADE ME PROUDEST OF ALL, THOUGH, WAS MY , ROY..HE CONVERTED TO ISLAM”.

From ‘Dreams of my Father’, “IN INDONESIA, I SPEND TWO YEARS AT A MUSLIM SCHOOL” “..I STUDIED THE KORAN..”

From ‘Audacity of Hope: “LOLO (Obamas step father) FOLLOWED ISLAM....”I LOOKED TO LOLO FOR GUIDANCE”.

From ‘The Audacity Of Hope, “I WILL STAND WITH THEM (MUSLIMS) SHOULD THE POLITICAL WINDS OF WAR SHIFT IN AN UGLY DIRECTION..”

From The Audacity Of Hope, “WE ARE NO LONGER JUST A CHRISTIAN NATION, we are also a Jewish nation, a MUSLIM NATION, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.”

How does he get away with having this out in print?
any other candidate would be CRUCIFIED!
This is freakin’ INSANE to think of electing THIS to the presidency of the United States!

.

Quotes by Obama’s pastor and mintor, Jeremiah Wright and their honored associate, Nation of Islam leader, Louis
Farrakhan:

“God will destroy America by the hands of the Muslims....God will not give Japan or Europe the honor of bringing down the United States; this is an honor God will bestow upon Muslims.” – Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan

“White people are potential humans…they haven’t evolved yet.”– Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan
Philadelphia Inquirer, March 2000

According to a journalist’s account, “Farrakhan called ‘the white man’ the ‘anti-Christ’ to rousing applause.”

“White America got their wake-up call after 9-11. White America and the Western world came to realize people of color had not gone away, faded in the woodwork, or just disappeared as the Great White West kept on its merry way of ignoring black concerns.” Jeremiah Wright (Obama’s pastor and mentor)

“The Israelis have illegally occupied Palestinian territories for over 40 years now. Divestment has now hit the table again as a strategy to wake the business community and wake up Americans concerning the injustice and the racism under which the PALESTINIANS have lived because of Zionism.” Jeremiah Wright. Obama’s pastor.

Is THIS what you want in the White House?

>>I'm sensing

Paranoia!<<

along with racism, hate-mongering, politics of fear, and tunnel vision?

Between this and the "eye opening" OP I just had to come out of lurking.

Not to mention that our problems with radical Muslims will probably not be solved militarily. At least not in the long run. At some point in time if we are to have a true peace, free of fear of terrorism, we will need to reach a point where we can live peacefully with the people who have become terrorists. We need to understand what is driving this hatred towards America and find a way to combat that hate. Perhaps having someone in power who has spent time in the Muslim community will help with that. I don't know, but we can't continue indefinitely with a war against each other that no side ever truly wins - you only have to look at Israel to see that.

“IN INDONESIA, I SPEND TWO YEARS AT A MUSLIM SCHOOL” “..I STUDIED THE KORAN..” Guess again

School not a madrassa

Reporting by CNN in Jakarta, Indonesia and Washington, D.C., shows the allegations that Obama attended a madrassa to be false. CNN dispatched Senior International Correspondent John Vause to Jakarta to investigate.

He visited the Basuki school, which Obama attended from 1969 to 1971.

"This is a public school. We don't focus on religion," Hardi Priyono, deputy headmaster of the Basuki school, told Vause. "In our daily lives, we try to respect religion, but we don't give preferential treatment."

Vause reported he saw boys and girls dressed in neat school uniforms playing outside the school, while teachers were dressed in Western-style clothes.

"I came here to Barack Obama's elementary school in Jakarta looking for what some are calling an Islamic madrassa ... like the ones that teach hate and violence in Pakistan and Afghanistan," Vause said on the "Situation Room" Monday. "I've been to those madrassas in Pakistan ... this school is nothing like that."

Vause also interviewed one of Obama's Basuki classmates, Bandug Winadijanto, who claims that not a lot has changed at the school since the two men were pupils. Insight reported that Obama's political opponents believed the school promoted Wahhabism, a fundamentalist form of Islam, "and are seeking to prove it."

"It's not (an) Islamic school. It's general," Winadijanto said. "There is a lot of Christians, Buddhists, also Confucian. ... So that's a mixed school."

The Obama aide described Fox News' broadcasting of the Insight story "appallingly irresponsible."

In Confirmation class at my synagogue we studied the Koran.... along with other beliefs as did Obama. Does this make me a person you should be concerned about? I'd like to think it made me more aware and open minded about other religious beliefs.

Not being black, it wouldn't be my place to explain what he must have experienced as a black man in America. However, being Jewish, many people made assumptions, they were the wrong assumptions, but they made them just the same. After awhile, you realize people are going to think what they want and go on with your life. Of course, I don't wear my religion on my skin, so I didn't confront prejudice too often. I can only image he must have spent much of his early years searching to understand why people are the way they are and allowed him the opportunity for him to gather great insight into the human psyche.

After reading the statements you highlighted, they appear to be out of context and a bit confusing. I guess I will need to go read the books. Thanks for the recommendation.

And YES, I would vote for him....since you asked.
