Whether you love her or hate her, VP candidate Sarah Palin is a hot topic of conversation. If you were granted a 15-minute interview with her, what would you ask? Perhaps it's about her experience, the economy or foreign policy; maybe you're curious about what's on her iPod or her favorite comic strip?

Suspend reality for a minute and tell us what you'd ask any of the candidates if you were on an assignment to interview them. Would you ask them all the same questions or would you have a different list for each one? Are there questions you feel no one else is asking? We want to hear what would be on your interview agenda. Your responses may be used in an upcoming iVillage feature.

If I had a fifteen minute interview with Sarah Palin, I'd ask her how it was that her son was talking about joining the military and yet Palin herself, "hasn't given much thought" to the war in Iraq. And in the same vein, I'd ask how she could consider herself fit for the second highest office in the land with such a lamentable lack of introspection about what was once the most pressing issue for the nation--and still IS in the sphere of foreign policy. I'd ask her what she would do about the overstretched military when her running partner has shown a downright bellicose stance towards nations like Iran and Russia.

I'd ask her about an energy plan with diversified resources. I'd ask her where she thinks oil comes from, how long it takes to form, and whether she thinks that it's possible for her creationism to account for that oil and HOW.

I'd ask her what she would have done differently in raising her children.

She would not have the sort of friendly interviewer in me that she had in Charlie Gibson. IF she wants to run as a mother, she should be able to answer as one. If she wants to run as a leader, she had better be able to show she understands the demands on our armed forces and our national security. And if she is anywhere NEAR the position of POTUS, she had better show herself to be a genius at mastering foreign policy and economic theory in a very short period of time.

I would ask McCain to explain in detail how his Health Care plan is supposed to work, and ask him if he thinks he's fooling us that it isn't really to help Employers and the Insurance companies more than the American people.

I would ask Sarah Palin if she would allow a woman who has been raped to get the morning after pill, or is that against her religion. Also would she want her own daughter to carry a pregnancy through to term if her daughter was savagedly raped, bruised and battered, by some scumbag.

Which government services would you eliminate or cut back upon?

Do you believe in separation of church and state? Should those religious organisations who are about to openly violate the no political stance requirement of our tax code lose their exempt tax status?

Do you believe civil servants should be chosen in part on their political ideology?

Would you have voted for Hillary Clinton? If not, why not?

What do you believe should be Congress' role in our governance?

Do you support wholesale use of presidential signing statements, and do you believe they should serve to shield a president or vice president from our laws with which they disagree?

What is your opinion of the Valerie Plame incident?

Do you support the Equal Rights Amendment?

What do you believe are the limits of free speech?

Give an example of an issue where you have changed your mind and your outlook on the issue.

To Sarah Palin I would ask; Why are you against letting a woman
