Sarah Makes Katie Nervous

In all the excitement of today's news I wonder how many saw the interview with Katie Couric today. Sarah did great. Katie had the nervous blinking syndrome. It was so interesting to watch Katie's reactions to Sarah - between all the blinks - I could sense some real hatred. I enjoyed watching it.

Here it is :

Actually, Katie looks like she is trying to stay awake. Why would she be nervous

Couric took the most significant answer off the table (about how McCain tried to reform Fannie/Freddie) and then asked Sarah for a recitation of everything ELSE McCain did, in his 26-yr record, to reform Fannie/Freddie. It was inane. Here again is a perfect example of why it's "fair" to give Palin time to get up to speed before turning the press loose on her. Couric...OUT!

How much time does she need?

I have a feeling that Couric already knew the answer to

*** How much time does she need? Let me guess....6 more weeks should cover it quite nicely?

As I said, the other candidates have had years to prepare...sure, give Palin 6 more weeks.

*** Ya want someone who doesn't need a month to "catch up" you might consider either nominating someone who actually knows something, or at leats nominating your noob early enough so they can catch up before election day.

What's a "noob?"

*** I have a feeling that Couric already knew the answer to that question about what ELSE McCain did. Couric was like a lawyer in a courtroom asking a witness a question to which the correct answer is already known.

Sorry, no...Couric took the "correct answer" off the table before she even asked the question. It's a cheap trick and it was yet another stupid "gotcha" moment from the liberal media. It's also inane that Couric was asking obscure questions about McCain's record instead of questions about the issues themselves...and no, I don't think Couric knew the answer to the question, but this bit if stupidity was pretty much in keeping with her performance as a "news woman."

*** She knows Palin won't get back to her, because there is nothing to get back to her with. If Palin had said that she was unaware of any other than what she had already mentioned, she would have given the answer Couric was looking for.

Again, it was a stupid attempt at a "gotcha"...but if Couric posed the question to Obama or Biden, she couldn't take the strongest, most relevant answer off the table...because neither one has ever done anything.

Continual blinking like that is a sign of nervousness. Couric clearly hates Palin and is doing everything she can to try to discredit her, but it does not work.

It seems like you are confused about who is actually running for president. Sarah isn't, McCain is. It is her job to let the public know where he stands, since it will be him people are voting for. Obviously she and McCain do not agree on everything. It is not her job to point out the differences since she is on the ticket to be VICE president.

If I were her I would remind people in every interview that she isn't going to Washington to seek the good opinion of the press - but to work for the American people....
