Sarah Makes Katie Nervous
| Thu, 09-25-2008 - 12:31am |
In all the excitement of today's news I wonder how many saw the interview with Katie Couric today. Sarah did great. Katie had the nervous blinking syndrome. It was so interesting to watch Katie's reactions to Sarah - between all the blinks - I could sense some real hatred. I enjoyed watching it.
Here it is :

You're serious right?
Hi - Just now reading the rest of the thread you wrote:
"She speaks like she is confused and gets lost in her own thought.”
Agree.
Sandy, Sandy, Sandy.....have you learned nothing, grasshopper? The good doctor IS having a civil discussion....just not with you. With himself (and you'd be amazed how frequently he agrees with him!). However, if there's any downside to this sunny utopia where never is heard a discouraging word, it's that it's....well....a bit of a closed loop, if you will: there's no need for you to reply. In fact, doing so only roils the previously tranquil waters of the conservative worldview.
So, please....have a heart? The fantasy you save could be your own dr. liviiiiiingston's.
Welcome to the board!
I have to say, although from the (very) little I've seen of your posts so far, I tend to agree with you, I have to take MAJOR objection to your siggie, specifically the statistic that 2.4 billion pounds of peanuts are consumed in the USA each year.
I feel this figure is wildly off-base, and I can prove it:
My 7-year-old daughter consumes at least 1.3 billion pounds by herself....and I feel sure the rest of the country probably pushes the figure higher than your artificially-low figure. Who do you work for, the anti-peanut lobby?
Now that's just manifestly unfair, tybee: Palin is totally capable of formulating complete sentences. Why, in the very interview with Couric that you reference, she said:
Wow. Now, even a dedicated liberal apologist such as yourself will have to admit that's some powerful sentence-construction....won't you? Hey, where are you going? Come back!!! ;o)
LOL, cute. To be honest, I have not updated my siggy in a few years, it's due for a facelift, ha!
*** Why should I do the work for you? He's your candidate, right?
You're the one who posed the question...you find the answer.
*** Thought you might like to see the basic summaries of actions taken in the 110th Congress by the two key players in this election. This is from the THOMAS database.

McCain has sponsored 22 bills and 33 amendments and co-sponsored 136 bills and 80 amendments. Obama has sponsored 71 bills and 59 amendments and co-sponsored 427 bills and 116 amendments. At least on paper it looks like Obama's been working harder on his job as a Senator in this Congress than McCain has.
Boy it sure does...but let's take a little closer peek, shall we? We'll start with a side by side of the first three...
McCain:
1. S.RES.70 : A resolution expressing the sense of the Senate that the Commander of Multinational Forces-Iraq and all United States personnel under his command should receive from Congress the full support necessary to carry out the United States mission in Iraq.
2. S.32 : A bill to reform the acquisition process of the Department of Defense, and for other purposes.
3. S.83 : A bill to provide increased rail transportation security.
Obama:
1. S.CON.RES.5 : A concurrent resolution honoring the life of Percy Lavon Julian, a pioneer in the field of organic chemistry and the first and only African-American chemist to be inducted into the National Academy of Sciences.
2. S.CON.RES.25 : A concurrent resolution condemning the recent violent actions of the Government of Zimbabwe against peaceful opposition party activists and members of civil society.
3. S.CON.RES.44 : A concurrent resolution expressing the sense of Congress that a commemorative postage stamp should be issued honoring Rosa Louise McCauley Parks.
Wow, Barry's doin' some important "work" there. Sorry, but when you shine even a cursory light of reality on their respective records, the comparison is pretty glaring. Barry makes a pretty fine community organizer.
*** PS: While I'm loving this chat, I have to go for the evening. Have to go to work and raise money for Breast Cancer.
No prob...drop a line when you have a chance. Good luck with the fund raising.
Don't forget, when you slam Sarah Palin for the things she's said, you're not only guilty of "bashing" her, you're also being a "sexist."
