Pictures from London ~ this is beyond scary...
Makes you wonder doesn't it...can you imagine having a Christian demonstration against Islam in downtown Baghdad !
http://www.snopes.com/photos/politics/muslimprotest.asp
Why would anyone think that we should be at war with such nice, peaceful Muslims?!
All Christians need to know. You need to forward this one to everyone! These pictures tell it all!
Muslims have stated that England will be the first country they take over!
These are pictures not shown on American TV or in American Newspapers (as they might help Bush's war on terror), but were forwarded by a Canadian who thought All Christians ought to know!
The above two sentenances came without proof of truth.

Those pictures date to the Muhammed crisis. What does the last line in your post mean? This one:
"The above two sentenances came without proof of truth. "
>>Yes...I remember that stuff.

<<Mm, demonstrating how much we love our freedom by, um, taking away others' freedom of speech.>>
Communicating a threat isn't freedom of speech.
That was bad, but remember they were protesting because, in a cartoon, the representation of Muhammad, the central human figure and messenger of God in Islam, was an insult to all Muslims. Even so, most Muslims, like everyone else of other religions, condemned the protests and the threats expressed on those placards.
How would Christians feel if an Islam country's newspaper printed a cartoon including Jesus and mocking Christianity? I'd like to think that there would be no signs such as the ones in the photos you posted, but we know that the fundamentalists in ANY religion can easily get carried away. Christians have bombed abortion clinics. Recently, Hindus attacked Christian converts in India, because they thought once they gave up their religion they should no longer be eligible to receive the affirmative action economic benefits to which they were entitled as "untouchable" Hindus.
Remember, only 1/3 of the world population are Christians:

We (Christians, Muslims and everyone else) need to respect other religions if we are to achieve world peace.

1. Hateful and deranged as the protest signs are, I did not se any threats against Christians. The threats are against people who mock Muhammed.
2. Muslim fundamentalists do not have the deranged market cornered http://americansfortruth.com/uploads/2007/10/fred_phelps_idiotic_911_message.bmp
>>>Communicating a threat isn't freedom of speech. I can't walk up to someone walking down the street and tell them that I am going to blow their head off with a gun. I can't walk into the mall and yell FIRE!!! See the difference?<<<
I don't think they were necessarily communicating threats; I think they were expressing ideas that were meant to be inflammatory. Walking into a mall and yelling "FIRE" is reckless endangerment, it will cause people to panic and run from an immediate danger that does not exist. Calmly holding a sign (with no weapon in hand) one cannot safely conclude that you intend to carry out those actions right then. Am I repulsed by them? Of course. Do I think American cops would have stopped them? Bloomberg wouldn't even give permits for people to protest against the war on the Great Lawn a few years ago. So yeah. But I think we have to be VERY VERY VERY careful about ever eroding our right to speak out.

>>>I guess you missed the part where I CLEARLY said I remember that....<<<<
I guess you missed the part where I was addressing that paragraph to the OP. :)
