So when and how does one (not) condemn "the one" and (not) "the other" for the bigoted/racist comment it is?

Your inability to refute my argument is thanks enough...and proof that you were wrong. ; )

Well, if it makes you feel better to think that, doc, that's okay with me.

This is a ridiculous discussion. I remain convinced that the original comment was not intended seriously. End of story.

I'm just surprised that no one has yet refuted that and told us why that theory wouldn't work.

Is that "frustration" or "sarcasm"?

Anyway, likewise.

My day has been and still is nice, a very clear and sunny Autumn day.

I responded to the OP. And you indicated confusion in the title of the thread--I did not miss that. Sometimes it is not possible to read all the posts in a thread.

Moreover, there appeared to be poor wording or a lapse of logic, not solely a lack of facts, in that OP. It did not matter where Obama was when he made his anti-war speech, he still took an unpopular, and proven-by-later-events stance.

Yes. A "Hin-don't" is probably more appropriate.

Methinks our ex-CL is a bit peeved that you refuse to debate on her terms.
