Your sources are speculating about how much tax the country could have collected based on higher taxes on the actual amount of growth. What they obviously miss is that we would not have had the same amount of growth without the tax cuts. The analogies are faulty. Also, I posted actual historical facts (with actual numbers) that support that tax cuts stimulate the economy and increase revenues. Not speculation about what might have been.

If what we actually need is more money coming in we need to keep taxes low and control spending. Right now spending is out of control. Tax cuts have increased tax revenues. The out of control spending has been a huge problem. Our congress has seen larger revenues and spent like drunken sailors.

I posted actual numbers. Did you read it? I don't think and have not said that tax cuts alone are going to fix this huge mess that has been caused mostly by the "good intentions" of the Democrats.

Your source is speculating that the revenues would be lower with a higher tax rate.

Was it also the housing bubble that caused revenues to go up with the tax cuts of the 20's, 60's and 80's?

In the '80s, it was the $200bn per year of hot checks that Ray-gun wrote.

It is not speculation, it is proven historical fact backed up with REAL NUMBERS. Tax cuts stimulate growth, every time. It happened in the 20's (ever hear of the Roaring 20's?), it happened in the 60's (please read the quotes from Democrat John Kennedy regarding this), in the 80's and again in this century.

Here is a link for you with the quotes from Democrat President John F. Kennedy:

So do you think it's just a coincidence that each time taxes are cut the economy is stimulated?
