He is dedicated to cutting spending and keeping taxes low. Obama wants to INCREASE spending by BILLIONS and raise taxes. That would be a disaster.

"Have you ever sat and watched the circus that is on CSpan? I am not blaming someone other than McCain...they are ALL at fault including Obama."

You know, the Republicans have controlled the Presidency for 8 years. Until two years ago, they controlled the House and the Senate too. They controlled the vertical. They controlled the horizontal. Why aren't we hearing the Republicans talk about all they've accomplished after all this time they've been in power? Instead, you are echoing their favorite tactic, complaining that all politicians are the same. Where is the accountability? And if all politicians are the same, why do you bother to vote? No matter who you vote for, according to you, you'll get the same result. The rest of us who feel differently will vote based on our convictions.

"Oh and I don't know who Frank Rich is. I don't read articles and opion pieces online or in the paper."

People who are informed about politics don't just talk about their own views. They listen to others. I recommend you read a few opinion pieces. Sopal posted most of the Rich piece on this board so it won't be hard to find. When you are through, let me know what you think.

Your forgetting the Democrats are in charge of the Senate now...not the Repulbicans.

Oh and I may feel that way abut our elected officals but there is no way to really make them listen

Many have posted here claiming they don’t approve burdening the next generation with the debts currently incurred and we need to grow the government coffers to cover today’s expense.
