McCain is in Washington D.C. right now doing his job. Obama is on the campaign trail. The Democrats are trying to spin it like being in Washington isn't the right thing to do because B.O. isn't there trying to help. I think most level headed Americans see it for what it is. We'll see.
One of the candidates puts his own self interest first. The other puts the country first time and again. He may lose the election because of it, but that's the way it is.
And I said I agree with your analysis of who won. I was just a bit disappointed with the way it started with Obama pointing fingers and McCain just taking the punches like a punching bag. McCain used good judgment for the overall good of the nation by not hitting back there, when he certainly could have. Better not to risk harming the negotiations just to score political points. Like it or not that was good for the country and not so good for McCain .... Again.
I never cease to be amazed at all the spinning that goes on with McCain supporters - no wonder he doesn't get it - he doesn't have to. Amazing to live in an alternate reality. Now if they could all just stay our of our reality life would be good.
McCain was pretty angry, wasn't he? And that video didn't even include some of the worst faces he made last night. I think his angry (not just serious or stern) disposition has a lot to do with the polls showing that Obama won the debate.
Deep-seated anger is a character trait that's not easy to get rid of at age 72.
This is not about a bracelet! It is about using a military member as a gimmick! Spin it how you like but Obama came away sounding shallow. If he didn't know the name he shouldn't have used the well I got one too! We are talking about a person here not a bracelet! I am sure you are not insinuating that fallen soldier is a juvenile distraction or argument... Sorry, but IMO
Yes glad to know that when McCain 'rushes' to Washington it takes more than 24 hours to get there - he will be tons of use in an emergency. We can all just say 'wait until McCain get's here' - in the meantime someone else will have to do what needs to be done.

Ya know about 100 years ago, there was this little thing called an AIRPLANE that was invented.

Obama was decisive when he opposed the war in Iraq before it started.
Bush and McCain, however, fall into the "never uncertain, often wrong" camp.
