McCain sure lost the debate

Commentators pointing out how McCain never looked at Obama, seemed to be looking for a fight, kept saying Obama doesn't understand - then Obama looked at McCain, looked at camera and spoke to people at home, and showed McCain over and over that he DOES understand.
The bracelet - loved how Obama retorted "I have my own bracelet",

According to the fact checking sources...both sides stretched the truth a lot, not just McCain.
I remember when my oldest daughter was in kindergarten, she use to dress in bizzare outfits. Pink and green polka dot leggings with a pink and green plaid shirt. I tried over and over to tell her the clothes didn't match. She tried over and over to prove that they did 'see they both have pink and green' eventually I just let her wear her mismatched outfit to school deciding that there would someday be bigger issues to fight over. She had facts, and her facts may have been correct - both things did have pink and green - but the facts did NOT prove her to be correct.
Again sometimes the battle isn't worth fighting. You are welcome to wear any mismatched clothing you choose. I have bigger fish to fry.
>>I'm sure Obama could childishly call him "old" or something ridiculous like that, but there was nothing legitimate <<
>>> so if Obama calls him old (which would be legitimate) it would be childish but when McCain calls Obama naive (which would be legitimate, in your opinion) he is just plain right?
Right. Calling McCain "old" is simply "schoolyard" and incredibly hypocritical because Obama chose a man who's only 6 years younger as his running mate. In order for Obama to legitimately call McCain's age into contention, he'd have to demonstrate that McCain suffers from some age-related malady that would prevent him from serving as President...which he can't.
On the other hand, McCain pointing out the Obama's erroneous positions come from his inexperience and naitvete, he isn't pointing out any kind of physical attribute, but rather a flaw in Obama's preparedness to assume the responsibilities of the Presidency...which is entirely legitimate and something that the American people should be aware of when choosing a leader.
>>> It doesn't matter, I really admire your devotion to McCain. I just hope that if he gets in he doesn't bust your bubble.
Obama's election will burst my bubble...and your's too, but probably even to a worse degree for you when it's followed by the gross disappointment in seeing your hero betray you. For me, I see him for what he is and I know what he's going to do.

I'm afraid that they did. Your perception was based on your personal taste, not a fact. She was right in that the two colors do not clash and her taste, and probably that of her peers, don't find that the patterns "clashed" to any significant degree.
The confrontation was actually over your desire for your daughter to see the world as you see it and for her to conform to your ideology...she declined. I hope she's as free-thinking later in life as she was in Kindergarten and looks for the truth rather than being bullied to accept mommy's ideology.
>>> Again sometimes the battle isn't worth fighting.
Apparently your daughter thought it was...and apparently she won.
>>> You are welcome to wear any mismatched clothing you choose. I have bigger fish to fry.
By "fry" do you mean jump up and down confronting people with your point of view and then when that point of view is shot down you offer cowardly snipes in it's place? Yeah, sounds about right.
>>> What you don't understand is that even if you feel she has as much expirience as Obama, she doesn't have any type of government degree. Her degree is in Journalism. Obama's is in Constitutional LAW.
Um...that would be significant if both candidates were running for the Supreme Court, but they aren't. The office of the President is an EXECUTIVE office. Obama has no EXECUTIVE experience and Palin has years of EXECUTIVE experience. Obama has never RUN...(i.e. been the "executive")...anything. Palin has run a town and been governor of a state with an 11 BILLION dollar budget...Obama doesn't even run his own campaign.
>>> Plus, something that Sarah cannot help is her VOICE. she can be the nicest person, but her voice is like dragging fingernails down a chalkboard! She uses run-on sentences and with this screechy tone, it distracts from anything she could say.
And Obama has a pin-head with big floppy ears that are terribly distracting when he's giving a speech...almost as distracting as his insipid "uh-uh-uh" between every other word. It makes him look like a complete moron. Personally, I'd rather listen to Palin's mid-western "lilt"...but attack her if you will, just as they did Hillary...but hopefully, you'll find something more substantial than that.
I am not able to follow you, and I suspect the reason is that your post does not make sense. You are aware, aren't you, that the solution for our economy that McCain presented at the debate was to cut earmarks, and that he claimed earmarks tripled in the past five years? Back in reality, earmarks are not relevant. Earmarks account for a relatively small portion of our deficit and in fact they have declined over the past five years.
Same thing with Iraq. McCain has a narrow focus on Iraq and ignores the bigger picture when it comes to foreign policy.
