McCain sure lost the debate

Commentators pointing out how McCain never looked at Obama, seemed to be looking for a fight, kept saying Obama doesn't understand - then Obama looked at McCain, looked at camera and spoke to people at home, and showed McCain over and over that he DOES understand.

The bracelet - loved how Obama retorted "I have my own bracelet",

In case you missed it, here is the Saturday Night Live repeat of Couric's interview of Palin:

http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/video/clips/couric-palin-open/704042/

I say repeat instead of parody, because it's pretty much the same. As one pundit noted, that's a first for snl.

PS I couldn't believe Palin's response when in the real interview Couric asked Palin how she thought living close to remote northeastern Russia could possibly give her foreign policy experience. Clueless, Palin just dove right in explaining how close Russia is to Alaska. Palin even blathered on about some Alaska trade missions to Russia which never existed. http://www.salon.com/politics/war_room/2008/09/26/trade_missions/index.html

PSS I'm with you that all this really isn't fair to Palin. Where we differ is the reason why. You think Palin is an experienced genius of a politician. I think McCain was terribly unfair to her in picking such an unqualified candidate. She could very well be a nice, normal, smart politician who was just the mayor of a tiny town of 10,000 less than two years ago, but in only the three interviews McCain has allowed her so far, she has proven she is not nearly seasoned enough to take the reins of the Presidency.

In case you missed it, here is a parody of Obama:

Oops…sorry…that WAS Obama. I guess there was no point in making a parody of a guy who’s a parody of himself. LOL!

PS I couldn't believe Obama's response when in an interview he said that he wasn’t prepared to run for President. I mean, we all know it’s true, but can you believe that HE said it?:

And then most of the other leading Democrats agreed with him:

I think the Democrats were terribly unfair to him in picking such an unqualified candidate. He could very well be a nice, normal, smart politician who was just a freshman Senator, but in the debates and interviews he’s done so far, he has proven he is not nearly seasoned enough to take the reins of the Presidency.
