Commentators pointing out how McCain never looked at Obama, seemed to be looking for a fight, kept saying Obama doesn't understand - then Obama looked at McCain, looked at camera and spoke to people at home, and showed McCain over and over that he DOES understand.

The bracelet - loved how Obama retorted "I have my own bracelet",

Since there are already a number of threads on this topic, I am pasting my comments rather than type them over and over. Here is my take on the debate:

Well I wouldn't expect anything other than that statement from you.

"Nah...his voting record shows a difference between him and Bush and the republican party."

Nope. It doesn't. McCain voted with Bush over 90% of the time. He flip flopped to vote for Bush's tax cut. He hopped on the Bush bandwagon for the war in Iraq. He was Bush's strongest supporter in many areas, like the surge.

Sorry in the real world people are accountable for their decisions and their actions.

Per my other thread, this is going to be a landslide.

And just wait until the VP debate next week. If Palin is incoherent when talking to the media, how do you think she's going to do when she faces her opponent, a real life experienced politician?

That might have been McCains opinion but I didn't hear Obama resorting to name calling. Obama never even called McCain a liar - he would simply say "that's not true" Instead of calling Obama naive he could've said "I disagree" it just made him look immature in addition to not being able to look at Obama. IMHO Obama looked more presidential even though neither was able to knock the other out.

Obama continues to lie:

Welll....let's read this article.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey is not a measurement of the views of all Americans, since only people who watched the debate were questioned and the audience included more Democrats than Republicans.

Fifty-one percent of those polled thought Obama did the better job in Friday night's debate, while 38 percent said John McCain did better.

So...I wouldn't call that poll accurate.
