what a JOKE

Please tell me that there is somebody on this board that believes, as I do, that McCain and Obama are one in the same.

Obama said throughout the whole debate, "I agree with McCain..."

MCain said throughout the whole debate, "I don't agree with Obama, but ultimately, yes, I agree."

Is anyone REALLY falling for it?  Does anyone REALLY think that things will be so dramatically different in this country whether McCain or Obama is president?  Really.

I will not be voting for either of them.

From day one, I have tried to encourage whoever I could to explore another option: someone who would actually affect Change while maintaining our rights as individuals.

Pretty much no one I know personally and no one with whom I've dialogued online has given that a chance.

I believe we, as the people, have Failed Terribly.  We could have motivated to make real change; we, as a people, chose not to.

What in the world is that supposed to mean? I don't agree with Obama but ultimately, yes, I agree???? Does it even make sense?

What I meant was...McCain wouldn't say it aloud the way Obama did, but ultimately his views, when it came down to actual policy and procedures, were in accordance with Obama's, for the most part (NOT ALL).

McCain wouldn't say it aloud??? Why not if it is what he believes? What is he afraid of - speaking his mind? I really don't get your comment - makes McCain seem less sincere and perhaps a bit misleading? Did I misunderstand?

I agree with you that whoever is our next President will have a huge mess to clean up. He will not be able to make everybody happy, and at least Obama was honest in saying he will probably not be able to do what he wants to do in the beginning. I saw that McCain had notes, but I didn't see if Obama did. McCain lies about Obama, mainly about the taxes, saying Obama wants to raise taxes on people making as little as 32,000. That has been debunked on "factcheck.org".McCain looked nervous at times. Overall, I think they both did well in their own right, but I think McCain doesn't really look well. My Dh said he looked like a Mortician did his make-up.

I find it very sad that someone in this country doesn't 'believe in voting'.

And you don't think 10,000 of thousands of those in the military will not be affected?
