Obama only interested in socializing this country
To the Editor:

In the past few weeks, I have listened to Barrack Obama's speeches. I have also talked to many people who believe Obama's plans or changes for this country is what we need.

This is wrong.

For 32 years I lived in East Germany. I didn't have a choice. For four years, I suffered as a political prisoner in a Russian East German Prison Camp. They tried to re-educate me by forcing me to read Marx, Engels, and Lenin and the communist manifestoes.

When I hear Obama speaking, I hear Marx, Engels, and Lenin. Please, the people should listen to what he says. It's mine to hear for everyone's health insurance.

I have no health insurance myself, but I lived under socialized medicine and this is bad. I assure you, in Germany, France, and other places in Europe the medical care is substandard. There is no medical care for older people, they will offer the older people the pill.

Others wait a long time for medical appointments and medicine is in short supply and often non-existent. Everything that is government run is not always good.

Obama wants to socialize this country. It didn't work in Russia; it didn't work in East Germany; it didn't work in Cuba; and it won't work here.

Obama does not have the experience to lead this country. He will be tested as John F. Kennedy was tested by the Russians. When Kennedy became president, he was tested by the Cuban Crisis and allowed the Berlin Wall to be built with electric fences and mine fields to separate the free from the oppressed. I prefer an older, wiser president.

To be free and to raise my son to be free, I walked through a mine field from East Germany to the West with my baby on my back and made my way to America.

He is now a major in the U.S. Special Forces after having spent two tours of duty in Afghanistan and one tour in Iraq, and now being sent to Africa as a foreign affairs officer.

He is an American, and I am an American. I value our freedom. Don't give us a socialist communist state.

It’s one thing for conservatives to scream bloody murder that Obama is a socialist.

It’s altogether something more to read someone who’s experienced it first hand confirm our worst fears about him.

America needs to pay attention or we’ll find ourselves experiencing a life similar to this brave person.

Hey lex

If you want to interrogate this person, it appears you could, without much effort.

ROFL! "Offer the older people the pill." I also love how the writer makes East Germany out to be the same as France, for example. As far as France, my father, who is an older person, received outstanding cancer care in France, free of charge, and he is still alive and going strong.

Because his ideas are, too.

Heh.

My favorite part was watching Andrew Sullivan trying not to laugh when Maher said "redneck."

I wonder if this is one of those letter to the editors that the McCain camp is paying people to write then having someone who agrees with it,
