FACT: Barack Obama voted against the confirmation of 2 of the 5 Justices that affirmed an individual right to keep and bear arms.

FACT: Barack Obama voted to allow reckless lawsuits designed to bankrupt the firearms industry.1

FACT: Barack Obama wants to re-impose the failed and discredited Clinton Gun Ban.15

FACT: Barack Obama voted to ban almost all rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.3

FACT: Barack Obama has endorsed a 500% increase in the federal excise tax on firearms and ammunition.9

FACT: Barack Obama has endorsed a complete ban on handgun ownership.2

FACT: Barack Obama supports local gun bans in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and other cities.4

FACT: Barack Obama voted to uphold local gun bans and the criminal prosecution of people

As an ex-community organizer in the Chicago housing projects, he has the experience to make an intelligent interpretation of the second amendment. I like the way he votes.

I think he's not ignorant. I doubt very seriously that our founding fathers imagined the 2nd amendment would protect individuals wanting to own a gun that could be easily concealed on one's person.

Exactly! Back in that day they needed to have guns. You do know that Adam Burr shot and killed Alexander Hamilton in a dual. that's what they did alot back then, plus they needed to be able to shoot their horse if it got sick or broke it's leg. Today guns are used in the crimes that are so prevelant. I can't pick up the paper without seeing that someone has been shot. I live a few miles from a Gun Club and I hear shooting all the time!
