John McCain As A Person

You know I've heard about John McCain's temper and his aggressiveness, but these days I'm starting to see it a lot. And I'll be honest, on a personal level I just find John McCain incredibly unappealing. Really, he's the kind of person I simply can't stand to be around for any length time. It's revolting to watch this guy lie about the sleaze his campaign regularly foists on the public. I don't know how he  says the things he does while maintaining a straight face. In this interview he not only lies through his teeth, but he has gall to go on the attack and feign as if he's been slighted. It's revolting and it will be agony if America has to go through four years with this mean, annoying, ethically-challenge hothead.

At first I thought he brought his San Francisco interview face, but now I see that the guy is just a tense, seething, angry ball of boiling rage most of the time.)

If you follow the link provided in that blog you linked to, you can see the whole interview in segments (you have to watch a short advertisement before segments).

I agree with your assessment of John McCain. He has a McNasty temperament. He is living up to his nickname. I can not imagine the drama-filled meetings that he would allow to happen. That smirk on his face as people lose their tempers and shout at each other...just the way McCain likes it.

And the slights against foreign leaders would be embarrassing. Already he has disrespected the Spanish president and called Pakistan a "failed state". What the ???? and calling Putin the KGB while we are trying to build relations with them. Come on, people (BC) See this man for the cantankerous, misinformed bully that he is.

It's not just the temperament, it's the Rovian approach to the truth he's bought into: "I respect your opinion

McCain definitely has the face of rage working for him, but the king of smirk will always be Junior. He's had

((The only thing worse than Junior's smirk is his pathetic pursed lipped, deer-in-the-headlight, I-need-my-handlers-to-step-in-and-save-me, simpering pout. ))

lol. So true!. This bugs me soooo much!

Did you notice how he runs his tongue in front of his upper front teeth while glancing around for some support after telling us his sex ed ad is truthful?

Different people have different body language when they lie.
