ACORN has certainly had some issues with purported voter fraud. It's also done some amazing things. In the mid-00s, the organization negotiated with tax preparation companies to improve their rates and the way they communicate with their customers. They've instituted major campaigns in poor areas to educate citizens about their rights to certain tax credits. I think in some areas, ACORN has shown to make a big difference in the lives of the poor.

It hasn't been "purported" voter fraud.

They've been convicted.
