I think it's imperative that we are all conscious of where we're getting our news. As has been established very well on this debate board, there are many disreputable sources out there -- along with parodies, advertorials and opinion pieces. At times these are mixed in with the real news.
In my mind it doesn't matter what news people use, but it's our responsibility as U.S. citizens to be careful news consumers. We can throw our votes away because of bad reporting or misleading identification of propaganda or opinion. No matter how many "news" outlets report it, Obama is not Muslim and McCain does not have an illegitimate child. (Just throwing out some nasty rumors that hit both sides. I'm not suggesting that you personally believe either one.)
