Never - ever - have I heard more a vacuous, vapid response to a question from a major candidate for public office:

Please, people.  Please.  You cannot put this bimbo in the White House.

That's funny that you used the Huffington Post to prove your point.

...end of Troopergate."

You must have missed the news release that the Judge up in Alaska said NOT the end of troopergate.

>>> Really? I don't believe that the assertion was that Palin, herself, was the directly applying pressure, but Monegan felt pressured by Palin's husband and staff

Monegan stated that he wasn't pressured by either Sarah or Todd. I don't recall him saying anything about her staff being involved. On a news program, O'Reilly I think, several lawyers said they examined the evidence and stated that there was a clear case of insubordination on the part of Monegan. The Governor doesn't need a reason to fire the public safety commissioner, but if she did, there seems to be a pretty strong case for it. There also seems to have been a pretty strong case for firing the trooper. Considering the threats he made against the Palin family and his other offenses, his continued employment is a mystery.

>>> What is making her look guilty is the refusal of her husband and staff to honor subpoenas for testimony. If there was nothing to hide, they wouldn't be hiding from giving testimony under oath. No matter....truth is the best defense.

This can easily be taken care of after the election. Why put herself and her husband under the thumb of political rivals during a close election when you don't have to? It doesn't make good political sense.

When I said the "end" of troopergate I was referring to the facts of the matter, not the partisan attack. I have no doubt that after the election this sham will be addressed and dismissed.

Um, in English, "wrong list" means a collection of something that is not the right collection.

In the link I provided, it suggests otherwise.

I'll beg to differ because the only two people who know are Palin and the librarian.
