Never - ever - have I heard more a vacuous, vapid response to a question from a major candidate for public office:

Please, people.  Please.  You cannot put this bimbo in the White House.

That ignore button can be your friend, even if you use it only temporarily just to get a break from some of the nonsense.

The librarian claims are a he-said-she-said type of situation.

I understand that this is a big deal for Palin-haters, but I really don't see it as much of an issue. First, Wooten was found guilty of the charges so there seems to be substance to the Palin complaints. Second, if you were in Palin's shoes, and a policeman had tried to intimidate your family and made death threats against your loved ones (not to mention being privy to his many other offenses and his negative character in general), wouldn't you ardently complain to his superiors?...and probably try to get him fired?

I believe that Palin is telling the truth and was careful not to use her office to exert undue influence, but I think the evidence shows that Wooten was a "bad guy" and, unfortunately, the people who knew him best, and could testify to his offenses, happened to be tied to the Governor.
