OMG. Palin has no brain.

Never - ever - have I heard more a vacuous, vapid response to a question from a major candidate for public office:

Please, people. Please. You cannot put this bimbo in the White House.

Oh the war that BIDEN voted for?
>>> If I were the governor of the state, directly able to fire the person I was needing to "complain" to, no, for the obvious reasons that are playing themselves out right now
LOL! This is as inane as you kids saying Iraq was a "war for oil" but then being left looking foolish when it's pointed out that we aren't getting Iraq's oil! If Palin wanted Wooten fired, why didn't she simply call the Chief of Police and intimidate him? And if, beyond all reasoning, she actually thought that pressuring the commissioner of public safety was the way to go...and was so peeved that Monegan didn't do what she said, so she fired him...why didn't she exert similar pressure on his replacement? And why, to this day, isn't Wooten fired? I love a good conspiracy theory, but you guys gotta do better than this...really.
Oh please.
>>> Please. This investigation was approved by a UNANIMOUS vote of fourteen-to-zero, and ten of the people voting in favor of it were Republicans.
Palin supports an investigation...just not a partisan one designed to attack the McCain campaign...
"Senator Hollis French, Project Director of the investigation and Senator Kim Elton, chairman of the council conducting the investigation are Obama supporters. Steve Branchflower, a former colleague of Walt Monegan, was appointed by Elton as lead investigator of the investigation.
Prior to the investigation, French has already made predictions of an "October surprise" and made references to "impeaching" the Governor."
>>> Politics is being injected into it now because Palin is - literally, unprecedented in American history - running for the second-highest office in the land, while under investigation for misuse of power while in a lower office.
Right...all the more reason to deflect this Dem attempt to smear here until after the election...when it will, mysteriously, disappear.
>>> And then went back to politics as usual when this 'deal' went south - to resume the campaign he had never actually suspended.
The campaign was suspended...and McCain did what he was called to Washington to do...to bring the House Republicans on board. But when faced with overwhelming objections from "the people," McCain decided to break ranks with his own Senatorial party and support the House Republicans in opposing the bill. Due to his work and influence, a bill was finally arrived at with greater taxpayer protections and oversight...while Obama contributed...nothing. Go McCain!
>>> Coincidentally putting out an ad blaming Obama for the 'failure' of the bill BEFORE it had actually failed!
He knew it was going to fail and he knew that Obama, again when it came to a test of leadership, had failed miserably.
>>> Yeah a real 'county first' kind of guy!
Yep...with McCain, it's country first. With Oblahblah, it's Oblahblah first.
>>> What's in your kool aid Doctor Liviingston?
A touch of broccoli...chewed up and spit out. ; )
Where do you get your news is a gotcha question?
But when faced with overwhelming objections from "the people," McCain decided to break ranks with his own Senatorial party and support the House Republicans in opposing the bill.
Isn't this the same John McCain who was speaking to a group boasting about how he rushed to Washington and brought all these people together to vote to pass the bill while the House was voting and didn't pass the bill?
It's odd how the media and regular folk alike are attacking Palin so viciously. Albeit, she may not be as experienced as we'd like, or as quick on her feet but that is b/c she is a REAL person, not a lawyer (like Obama/Biden) and not a politician. She is well spoken, courageous, and intelligent. She can always learn more and gain more experience BUT ANSWER ME THIS... how on God's green Earth do we teach Obama morals? He has been close friends (for 25 years)
>>> Listen to this closely, if you dare, as McCain makes a further fool of himself and how he responds when's he's asked about what "he" said. And how anyone could call what comes out of the man's mouth as propaganda - well, wait, of course, it is propaganda and lies. Apparently his mother failed to tell him it's easier to remember the truth than a lie. Enjoy the video.
Geeze...I'd post the plethora of videos that show Obama's lies, bumbles, flip-flops, uh-uh-uhs, radical associations, propaganda and lies, but they're all so obvious and well known that it really isn't worth my effort. LOL!
< "I'm sorry that McCain doesn't have a "soundbite" mentality or see the world through propaganda. First, McCain was trying to instill confidence in the American people, unlike Obama who tries to instill fear. The fact is that the FUNDAMENTALS of our economy were strong when McCain made those statements. Unemployment was low, inflation was low, trade was strong and the economy was growing. Those are the fundamentals of the economy. That the economy has taken a hit due to poor lending practices, doesn't diminish the truthfulness of McCain's overall statement.
And in addressing this "crisis," the actions of each candidate are the most telling. McCain dropped everything and headed to Washington to help broker a deal...country first...while Obama said "call me if you need me"...Obama before country. Sadly typical."
>>> And thanks for this colorful, spinning, spinning right-wing excuse and mantra. It was good for a nice laugh.
An education is always good...I'm glad I could help you out.
>>> He changed his tune entirely to the American worker after his Ohio speech bit him in the butt where he was claiming that he "dropped everything and rushed to Washington to help broker a deal." Opps, looked like he didn't broker it too well. Members of his own party said it would be best if he "stayed away." Apparently his own party is not impressed with his brokering skills.
Apparently they are...The House minority leader said that without McCain, the Dems would have run roughshod over them. Thanks to McCain, they were brought to the table and got a much better deal for their constituents in the end. But what's particularly glaring, is that the Dems didn't need the Republicans to pass this "great bill." They were just too cowardly to do it. LOL! Even Obama let his vote pass by several times until he knew he had the "cover" to vote. What a gutless prig.,,the Democrats deserve him.
>>> Why am I spreading this "propaganda"? Oh, yeah, it did not pass after his rushing to D.C. insinuating that his being there taking care of the country was all that was needed. LOL
Actually, what was really funny, is that McCain...all by his little lonesome...was SO powerful and influential, that he was able to put the kibosh on a bill that the Democrats had already claimed success on and didn't need a single Republican vote to pass. Now that's influence. LOL!
