Never - ever - have I heard more a vacuous, vapid response to a question from a major candidate for public office:

Please, people.  Please.  You cannot put this bimbo in the White House.

According to Wikipedia:

Its first usage in English was for stupid men; it now is understood to mean a woman unless modified as male bimbo, himbo or mimbo. Some still prefer the explicitly female variant bimbette, which has also entered The American Heritage Dictionary. Others use bimbette for a younger bimbo, because the suffix "-ette" signifies a smaller version as in French or Spanish "-ito/-ita" suffix.

So, lets re-frase... Palin is a bimbette!

>>What/why is it that Biden is NOT discussed/viewed anywhere as being "one hearbeat away from the oval office" as well?

Because he has far more experience? Because his gaffes are silly? (Really, do his stupid comments about Roosevelt and television compare with Palin's inability to intelligently discuss our constitution?) Because he can intelligently discuss Supreme Court decisions and the separation of church and state?

If Biden were as much of an embarrassment and a liability, you'd hear about it.

"No need to yell at me...if you don't like ther then don't vote for her"

-ITA. That's why I'm voting for Obama.

"And I can't personally name any other than RvW"

-Yes, Sweetheart but YOU are not running for Vice President of the greatest Nation, and I bet you don't have MILLIONS of eyes on you, like she does.

LOL, I'm sure he did, he probably did a DUH on himself after he realized that it was on the Radio that he would have done that speech. Also, I doubt anybody here could name the presidents IN ORDER without googling. This is just more petty stuff on both sides of the fence, as far as I'm concerned.

In June, she knew she disagreed with the case limiting the punitive awards in the Exxon Valdez case.

Well, yes, I agree, but I kinda doubt she expected in advance to be picked as McCain's running mate. Was she even on his "short list"? I don't remember. She has a degree in journalism. I would think somebody with a Law Degree or Political Science degree would be better versed. My Dh and I watched the John Adams series on HBO. Now he is watching dvd's he borrowed from the library on Thomas Jefferson. Interesting stuff! Do you remember the Fries Rebellion? That happened right in my immediate area!
