I agree, there are no politicians who can keep their word, let alone do what the people who voted them in want them to do. It's time they get voted out, get rid of any and all incumbents. Maybe it is time to set term limits to both the house & the senate. They seem to get too comfortable and cocky.
I don't think they were 'hidden' in the bill. I think they were added to 'sweeten' the deal and encourage some of the more reluctant Senators to vote for it, and perhaps the more reluctant gop in the house.
yes exactly and they even did a dreaded thing, which I hate and I want to see what his sons say about this, they put in a thing for Paul Wellstone (hes very loved in this state (MN) by both parties because of his tragic death and how he came into politics - a bet by his students)

did you read it, it was "hidden"
No it wasn't hidden. The tax cuts and mental health insurance stuff that was added was all over the news. And that was the GOOD stuff!
What was hidden is the fact that we taxpayers get no equity stake in this.
The junk assets we purchase for $700 billion.
The poor, failing financial institutions filling the pockets of congressmen (on both sides) get to keep the good stuff.
Their stock price goes up. Their creditors get paid principal and a good sum of interest.
And we taxpayers get SHAFTED!
Let's vote out every single one who votes for this bill.
(Geez, I don't really want Nader, but.............)
