Have any of you ever heard the phrase

"If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all."?

Calling the candidates names isn't a civil thing to do.  I have been tempted to call Obama something else but haven't.  Lots of you are calling Sarah such names as stupid, bimbo, saying she has no brain, oh and have called her the devil.  This is just as bad as anyone here calling someone a name.  I thought name calling was a gradechool thing but apparently not.  Just because you don't like someone or their beliefs you shouldn't call them a name.

I don't care if this is "politics" or "cooking for families" we shouldn't be calling anyone names.

You realize of course that if that rule was applied to candidates during an election cycle, we'd hear nothing at all from them?

Maybe just maybe we would hear a little more truth from them all.

wouldn't that be nice?

I agree with you btw ... I've learned which posters to avoid (on both sides) and it's a shame b/c if any of them said anything with actual validity in terms of issues ... most of us wouldn't even know because we refuse to read through the garbage first.
