Hi everyone --

We wanted to get your reaction to the Vice Presidential debate between Senator Joe Biden and Governor Sarah Palin. Did you watch? What did you think -- and who do you consider the winner? Were there any surprises? Tell us what you considered to be the highlights, the low points and everything in between.

Please note: This discussion will be featured on our homepage as well as our Election 2008 feature page (http://www.ivillage.com/0,,dkrjhqbk,00.html) and may elicit some "Guest" responses from our "Talkback" box tool on the page. Inappropriate responses that violate our Terms of Service will be removed.

Thanks for your input!

I am not sure but I have one thing to say that this website is so bias and it actually disappoints me to see just how far you can go for an empty suit looks fade but will he be able to do anything but read what someone else says.
This country is in trouble if he gets in

The defining moment of the debate was when Joe Biden choked up at losing his wife and daughter in the car accident and watched his two little boys fight for life all those years ago but it's still so painful for him (and one is going to Iraq today). And then, cut to Caribou Robo-Barbie, who didn't even seem to notice and just chugged right on with her talking points. At least take a second to say, "I'm sorry for your loss" before going back into battle mode. I don't even think she was listening at that point because she was winking in that cutesy way and planning for her next remarks, but if she was listening, that's even sadder. And even if SP didn't bomb (although "nu-cue-lar" was too much for me), I'm not forgetting the Couric and Gibson interviews, and I don’t think a lot of people will. The whole picture counts, not just one decent night.

Biden by a long shot. Palin was repeating speeches that she has rehearsed, dodging questions and reminding us that she has is inexperienced.

So what about McCain?
