Hi everyone --

We wanted to get your reaction to the Vice Presidential debate between Senator Joe Biden and Governor Sarah Palin. Did you watch? What did you think -- and who do you consider the winner? Were there any surprises? Tell us what you considered to be the highlights, the low points and everything in between.

Please note: This discussion will be featured on our homepage as well as our Election 2008 feature page (http://www.ivillage.com/0,,dkrjhqbk,00.html) and may elicit some "Guest" responses from our "Talkback" box tool on the page. Inappropriate responses that violate our Terms of Service will be removed.

Thanks for your input!

>>He is included in my statement all of them are. Including my own sentators and congressmen.

You seem to have strong feelings on this. So why not support a third party candidate instead?

Biden is clearly more capable of making the best informed decisions in this difficult time.

Palin was mean and unrealistic.
Cutting taxes in state where each
individual gets free hand-out is
the deal that all US states want.
Palin and McCain blame Washington, DC ... which had their
party in control of all..what a joke for the ruling party to blame others!!!

I can't see Palin talking to Putin and saying "gosh darnnit" I don't think we'll be taken very seriously if she does

Don't forget about "you betcha" and "shore up", and she still hasn't learned the pronunciation of "nuclear".

Joe won. Not only did he answer the actual questions, Sarah irritated me the entire 90 minutes with her cutesy/folksy manner. And I find it insulting, as an average middle-class American to always be refered to as Soccer Mom and Joe Six-pack"
