Were there any surprises? Tell us what you considered to be the highlights, the low points and everything in between.

Reading her cards?
>>How could she be rehearsed? She didn't know the questions ahead of time. Could it be that she isn't the idiot moron that the liberal media paints her to be?
I didn't know until today, but Benson's comments to Quayle -- "I knew Jack Kennedy; Jack Kennedy was my friend. You are no Jack Kennedy" -- were rehearsed. Apparently Benson and his team expected Quayle to compare himself to JFK and had this comment at the ready.
There are very few surprises in politics anymore. Both Biden and Palin stated rehearsed lines. It's SOP.

I am very confident in Biden's ability to take on the presidency if he had to. I am not convinced that Palin could do the job. She avoids answering the tough questions. Would she also avoid answering the tough questions in office...?
She had NO pen in her hand. Her head was down reading (The ASL I took for three years came in handy here) the notes that were prewritten for her. Did Biden have notes, yes! Did he spend the whole time (between questions)looking at them,no! Did she spend the whole time looking at her notes (between questions), yes!
I don't see anything wrong in what you call "folksy" speak.
