Hi everyone --

We wanted to get your reaction to the Vice Presidential debate between Senator Joe Biden and Governor Sarah Palin. Did you watch? What did you think -- and who do you consider the winner? Were there any surprises? Tell us what you considered to be the highlights, the low points and everything in between.

Please note: This discussion will be featured on our homepage as well as our Election 2008 feature page (http://www.ivillage.com/0,,dkrjhqbk,00.html) and may elicit some "Guest" responses from our "Talkback" box tool on the page. Inappropriate responses that violate our Terms of Service will be removed.

Thanks for your input!

Fluent in what....English? Um...OK.

Because she certainly wasn't fluent on the issues - just the same talking points, over and over again, regardless of what questions she was actually asked.

The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided.

The VPs role as the President of the Senate does seem a bit ambiguous, but I tend to side with tradition rather than a more "ambitious" interpretation of Vice Presidential powers. As for the seriousness of Palin's remark?...not so much, IMO.

Thanks...I'm glad you agree with me and see the gross errors in your previous post.

I certainly do see corruption in the private sector. Take a look at Franklin Raines, our newest CEO, face of corruption. Wonder if he will be investigated as other CEO's that screwed their companies have been; or if the friendship he enjoys with many powerful members of congress will protect him, Guess we will see on that one.

Laws and regulations have been put in place since 1933 that should have made Glass-Steagull unnecessary. Check out European
