Hi everyone --

We wanted to get your reaction to the Vice Presidential debate between Senator Joe Biden and Governor Sarah Palin. Did you watch? What did you think -- and who do you consider the winner? Were there any surprises? Tell us what you considered to be the highlights, the low points and everything in between.

Please note: This discussion will be featured on our homepage as well as our Election 2008 feature page (http://www.ivillage.com/0,,dkrjhqbk,00.html) and may elicit some "Guest" responses from our "Talkback" box tool on the page. Inappropriate responses that violate our Terms of Service will be removed.

Thanks for your input!

Joe Biden. He is the real deal. Palinis way out of her league. Her "folksy" talk sounded like a putdown of those of use who live in small town. She thinks we're dumb enough to buy her act!

I understand...being proven wrong is obviously very upsetting to you. Perhaps if you actually read the links I provided, the knowledge you'll receive will offset your hurt feelings at being proven wrong. But hey, on the upside...the next time this argument comes up, you'll have the right information and stand as good a chance of trouncing your opponent as I just did.

She couldn't handle it because she wasn't coached/rehearsed to do so in what she memorized or had in her notes. She hasn't got the ability to think on her feet and spar with her opponent. She just doesn't know enough, nor have the experience. I still can't understand the gaff of choosing her for a running mate. Pickings must have been slim for McCain, LOL! :D Choosing a woman as a "yes man" running mate, who isn't qualified, really is kind of insulting, IMO. :( It's no honor to women to do something like this at all. I think nominating her was .a huge mistake. I'd love to see a QUALIFIED woman run. She isn't it, sadly enough, though.

Yes, she got one side to listen and admire her beauty, and she provided a comedy show for the other side.

<<(maybe McCain WON'T make four years and she knows it!).

Hmmm that's scary and a bit ghoulish.>>

You don't need to be afraid of anything. I'm sure if anything were to happen to McCain, and Palin were to become president, the GOP would make sure that some ultra-conservative cabinet member would function as pres. SP would just be around to smile pretty and recite the lines she's fed. She's made a good puppet so far, I know she'd have no trouble taking on the role of a bigger puppet if the need arose.

Let's face it - Sarah Palin is George Bush in a dress.
