Hi everyone --

We wanted to get your reaction to the Vice Presidential debate between Senator Joe Biden and Governor Sarah Palin. Did you watch? What did you think -- and who do you consider the winner? Were there any surprises? Tell us what you considered to be the highlights, the low points and everything in between.

Please note: This discussion will be featured on our homepage as well as our Election 2008 feature page (http://www.ivillage.com/0,,dkrjhqbk,00.html) and may elicit some "Guest" responses from our "Talkback" box tool on the page. Inappropriate responses that violate our Terms of Service will be removed.

Thanks for your input!

Biden won. All Palin proved that she can read. She did not answer the questions asked and flat out said she had no intention of answering the questions asked that she was going to talk about what she wanted to talk about. She deserves credit for not getting off message but only because she read whatever her notes said. She's known for relying heavily on notes or index cards, etc. when she dabates. She either does not know her material or else she has a really bad memory. In debate there's no "Gee, golly. I'll have to get back to ya later." Ignorance or lousy memory. Both or either should certainly disqualify her to serve as peresident. After all McCain is an old man and we should be looking at her as being qualified for POTUS. The very thought of her as POTUS is enough to scare anybody. You betcha!

Biden won. I almost felt sorry for Palin. That's almost. She seemed a little nervous at first. She did not seem to answer any questions asked. With all the wink, wink nudge, nudge she gave the impression that she pulling a fast one - a huge joke on the rest of us. She could have behaved with a little more dignity.

Biden won. Palin was so pathetic. Do we really need another (potential) president who can't pronounce nuclear? How sad. She may know a little something about Alaska politics but nationally she's a total loss. I know more about national politics than she does. Also her loud strident shrill voice makes me cringe. Being from the south, I prefer the softer voices that you find in the south. To me she's just irritating all around.

Joe Biden by a landslide. Palin seemed to avoid most questions and her in experience was obvious.

Joe Biden won, hands down. Surviving was not the point, having substance was, and Sarah had none. All of the cute crap she tries to pull off just makes her look even worse and what was wrong with her eye?

<<She thought she was going to pull one over on Biden with her "I'm a single mom, a soccer mom, and oh how hard it was" mantra.>>

She never said she was a single mom.

Speaking of credibility..You might want to examine Biden.
