Hi everyone --

We wanted to get your reaction to the Vice Presidential debate between Senator Joe Biden and Governor Sarah Palin. Did you watch? What did you think -- and who do you consider the winner? Were there any surprises? Tell us what you considered to be the highlights, the low points and everything in between.

Please note: This discussion will be featured on our homepage as well as our Election 2008 feature page (http://www.ivillage.com/0,,dkrjhqbk,00.html) and may elicit some "Guest" responses from our "Talkback" box tool on the page. Inappropriate responses that violate our Terms of Service will be removed.

Thanks for your input!

Neither. Palin was cute, Biden was presidential. Both made inflated claims and gaffe's, but Biden was more on target and showed true experience. As a women, Palin's "wink" was a little overdone and a little offensive. Fox news had some lady on yesterday claiming that Biden's emotions were fabricated which has helped me stay more in the Obama camp than anything. Actually, it was up in the air for me until I saw that. Biden showed true emotions that I can realate to. So, I guess I need to by an Obama sticker.

I love how the Republicans take Biden's tragedy and make it into nothing. Attacking his wife even in death?? WOW~~~how desperate can the Republicans get??Desperate times call for desperate Republican measures.

Joe Biden!!! Sarah Palin said she wasn't going to answer the questions and she didn't. She just repeated her talking points along with winks and "you betcha's". This lady is a vindictive mongoose. Wait until "Troopergate" and her personal vindictiveness that she carries into political decisions will become obvious. You betcha!

She's already got over a mil in savings. Not bad to be a millionaire in low cost of living Alaska.

"Palin may have said “Thanks, but no thanks” on the Bridge to Nowhere, though not until Congress had pretty much killed it already."

Yup, it was a flat out lie. Congress killed it and then she jumped on the bandwagon. By the way, she's still got a ton of money from that bridge that she redirected to other purposes, and some of it is still being used to build a road to the bridge that never will be built.

Umm, debates can be practiced. I remember doing this in debate in high school. You go over what you think will be debated so that you have as many talking points a possible.
