How is this selective memory?
What??

Going to an Alaska grocery store for the first time? Expect a little sticker shock.

Few economic topics generate as
much consistent interest in Alaska as
the state’s high cost of living. For all
its resource wealth, Alaska’s relatively
small population depends on outside sources
for most of its consumer goods, and the state’s
remoteness creates extra costs.
Interest in the cost of living has grown even
more acute in the last few years as energy prices
have skyrocketed and food prices have climbed.
This annual article on the cost of living in Alaska
will look at the most current information available
from a variety of measures and surveys in
an attempt to give multiple perspectives on this
high-profile topic.

>># Finally, Huckabee told conventioneers and TV viewers that Palin got more votes when she ran for mayor of Wasilla than Biden did running for president. Not even close. The tally: Biden, 79,754, despite withdrawing from the race after the Iowa caucuses. Palin, 909 in her 1999 race, 651 in 1996.
Huckabee was right. Biden got 79,000 votes running in the primary. He got 0 votes because he didn't make it to the run for President. ;O)<<
So here's a clear example of distorting the facts to support a claim - Biden DID get votes and clearly Huckabee was referring to the primary as the comment was made well before the election that will occur in Nov.
So why should anyone continue to debate with someone who completely distorts actual facts to support their opinion? Just curious.

Clearly?
i think biden won the debate hands down! why? because he was prepared, clever but neither overly defensive no offensive. he showed just enough emotion without seeming fake.
as for palin, she was too folksy- i don't necessarily want someone like me running the country- i want someone who understands me, my family's situation, and what is important to us - not just any old politician who says i'm going through the same things right now.
in summary, biden represented himself well - prepared, real, and experienced and palin was just folksy, repetitive, and unresponsive to the meaningful questions asked by the mediator...

Biden has never run for president????? Are you serious???? What do you think the primaries are for???? Never mind there is no point in discussing this with someone who chooses to totally distort the facts. YASSIDNEM!
