Hi everyone --

We wanted to get your reaction to the Vice Presidential debate between Senator Joe Biden and Governor Sarah Palin. Did you watch? What did you think -- and who do you consider the winner? Were there any surprises? Tell us what you considered to be the highlights, the low points and everything in between.

Please note: This discussion will be featured on our homepage as well as our Election 2008 feature page (http://www.ivillage.com/0,,dkrjhqbk,00.html) and may elicit some "Guest" responses from our "Talkback" box tool on the page. Inappropriate responses that violate our Terms of Service will be removed.

Thanks for your input!

I might buy your notion, had they not (in the right side of the photo) also written out another sign which read:

"I'm a MAVRICK, how about you?"

I'm thinking that puts the authors of said signs in the "thick as a whale omelette" category, not the "cunning linguist" category.

Ah, the conservatarian's favorite excuse for poor behavior: "lighten up."

When Ann Coulter goes on record as saying that her only regret with Timothy McVeigh is that he didn't go to the New York Times building instead of the Murragh Federal Building, it's "lighten up." When Whoopi Goldberg makes a "Bush" joke at a fundraiser, it's front-page hissy fit for at least three full news cycles.

Apparently, sauce for the gander is no excuse for goosing the goose, if you're a conservatarian.

Joe Biden won because he was himself. Sarah Palin comes off as a phony, particularly when she talks about family and then when the girls come up to her, she doesn't even try to bond with her downs syndrone baby. She constantly dumps the baby off on the youngest girl or the oldest one. How can she expect to relate to the American people when she doesn't even try to put on a "motherly face" for her own children.

Hilarious! Snoopyme thinks the USA has 111 states! More, actually, since those are just the ones she thinks are "toss-ups."

Ah, memories:

proven that he's forgetful, misinformed, and so incompetent he doesn't know how many houses he and Cindy own.

Sort of like Obama that said that he had been in all 57 states

So saying there's 57 states makes Obama "forgetful, misinformed and incompetent?"

What does saying there's 111 states, just in the "toss-up" category mean then? Yikes, snoopyme's her own worst critic, LOL!
