Liars figure - unemployment rate

Does anybody see something wrong with the unemployment rate?  150,000+  people can lose their jobs in a month and the unemployment rate stays the same?  Hopefully when Obama takes office he will put someone in as Secretary of Labor who does the statistics right.  I'm sorry - "discouraged" workers - workers who have fallen off the unemployment rolls should count.  I know a bunch of people who have been off work a long time who have their resume's all over the place - too bad the H1B's and L1's continue to flow in.

Does anybody question that the "true" unemployment rate is closer to 10-12%??????

Just a note, jobs can be lost that will not qualify the newly unemployed to receive unemployment benefits.
