Is there anything for the citizens who don't want to become socialists to do. What should I be doing? I don't want our country on that path and it seems it is.

You are most certainly entitled to your opinion.
But - as this is a debate board - don't be surprised if I (or others) ask you to provide evidence which supports your opinion. In this case, you have none. Obama's never said anything even remotely resembling what you tried to suggest he's REALLY in favor of (as if only YOU know the truth, LOL).d
And you know what? I find OPINIONS like yours - ones which literally bear ZERO resemblance to reality - to be downright rude and insulting to not only the candidate (who I’m sure doesn't read these posts, and could fend for himself at any rate) but also anyone who supports him for reasons having nothing to do with the cartoonish hogwash you posted up under the rubric of "opinion."
I can post up the OPINION - by your lights - that John McCain is an America-loathing cannibal, and Sarah Palin is a twenty-dollar hooker....doesn't make it true. You don't want "juvenile, baseless attacks?" Here's an idea - don't MAKE 'em. Because when I see someone who's clearly willing to waste other people's time with groundless fiction such as the stuff you hworked up here, I take that into account when formulating my reply.
Every time I see or hear some distorted campaign add, I could throw something at the TV. I am SICK of it. It is really really disgusting and pathetic. Even more pathetic is the people who can't realize what is true and what is distortion!

And, of course, you knew that, but posted your question anyway. Quite misleading of you, isn't it? That tactic is a true tenet of the left. Off you go.>>
Not misleading - in a debate an opinion is supposed to be based on fact. She is merely asking which fact you based your opinion on. It was a perfectly reasonable question. Unless you don't have any fact on which you have based you opinion, in which case it becomes one of the pesky clarification issues people don't like to have to respond to.
Opinions with out facts - the new truth of the republican party, sort of like the credit fairy.
Yeah! We agree!
I keep my TV off, then I don't need to listen to them.
