So, i'm fairly new on the board and i pretty much just offer sarcasm (some may not think so), but anyway, i think you ladies (and probably some gents) are great and have offered a lot of facts and fun during this election. So i'm just being nosy and wondering what state you live in?

I'm in Minnesota, but born and raised in California. a total and complete liberal!

I'm from Missouri.

I come from a state that raises corn and cockleburrs and Democrats. Fancy words and flowery phrases neither move nor satisfy me.

I'm from Missouri. You have to show me.

Yes it is - I lived in Chapel Hill for many years then attended WCU before coming back to UNC and fell in love with the Asheville area. Was never too thrilled with Jesse Helms though!

I grew up in southwest Virginia, and lived in various areas of the commonwealth until three years ago. I now live in Maryland. I'm a life-long liberal, and I've always voted Democrat. I am not a member of the Democratic party, however.

I've always wanted to be a world traveler, but now that we have a kid, it's just too hard. although, hubby and I want to go to Italy for our 5-yr aniversary in 2 yrs. other than that, i've been to mexico & canada twice each. ;)

I voted for Bush 8 yrs ago and I must admit that i voted for him 4 yrs ago too. what was I thinking? Personally, i kinda like the man. i've seen many documentaries about him and have read 2 books about him. Politically though, i'm not fond of the way he's handled things.

When I told my sister this recently, she says im nuts for liking him personally. Can that really be possible? I mean, my ex-boss, i liked her when we would do things outside of work, but geesh, she was a very hard person to work with and eventually i had to leave because it was too hard for me. (i guess i just answered my own question!)
