May I ask a simple question - who & why?

I'm fairly new here....to this board & to politics in general. The comments & posts here can get really heated, and for the most part seems to be nothing more than an intent to discredit a disliked candidate. They get so heated that reading everyone's comments on the posts that grab my attention is too time consuming.
So, I'm really curious at this point in the election to know this: Who you support and what top 3 qualities makes you think they are best fit to be the president?
Let me just add - I'm not interested in hearing negative stuff about the one you don't support - I can clearly see all that from all the posts here.
I'll go first: I'm voting for Obama & the top 3 reasons are:
- I agree with his views on the economy & hardships that average Americans have been facing over the years.
- I agree with his views on Iraq - an issue close to my heart as my son is in Iraq
- I get a sense of great integrity from him, I trust him to be more for the average American rather than for Corporate America.

I hope everyone complies with your wishes but I sure don't count on it.
If I could vote, I would vote for Obama. The only positive reason is his consistent and correct opposition to the war in Iraq. I consider the presidency of GW to have been a disaster for the US and for the world, mainly because of the war. McCain is committed to continuing the disaster, so my vote for Obama would be a vote against GW and McCain more than it would be FOR Obama.
I do also consider it refreshing that Obama seems to have a brain in his head and I thought this guy smmed it up well: http://ecoecon.wordpress.com/2008/09/30/economics-and-annoying-smart-guys/
In your three statements, you have echoed mine with an addition to number three.
I am voting for Obama.
