What about Hillary?

I was not a big supporter of Hillary all along.  I voted for Obama in the primary....but I did not know enough about him then.   Today, I really wish that Hillary was the Democratic Nominee....I would feel comfortable with her as President.

Due to his inexperience.....if Obama is elected I do not believe he will be a strong leader; not strong enough to stand up to the leaders of other countries....or even strong enough to lead the old Washington group....not strong enough to make the tough and sometimes unpopular decisions that a President must make.  I am not even sure WHO will really be running the country if he is elected....which of Obama's advisors that is.

Will we ever see Hillary as president if Obama wins the election?   I think the chances will be slim....it is RARE that a party leads for more then 8 years.....and it seems even more unlikely that a nominee is other then the incumbent (in 2012) - so it would be 20016 before Hillary could be on the ticket again; and likely 2016 or even 2020 before a probable election.  There will be many up and comers and it seems her chances will become smaller and smaller each year.

I am "middle of the road".  I have voted for both Republicans and Democrats.....but I can not vote for Obama to be president.   He simply does not have enough experience.

I understand where you are coming from. I voted for Hilary in the primaries. I really hope she gets another shot at running again.

I don't want to get into a disagreement here but you said you cannot vote for Obama...honestly he is not my first choice either but would you think that McCain would make a better president? I mean, its not like we have a huge selection here. Sometimes it really is the lesser of 2 evils, IMO.

You are being honest with yourself on this, and that is good.

I agree he's not strong enough ... I feel he's a great speaker with little actual substance.

In order to get things done in politics you MUST be a strong leader

exactly why I am NOT voting for him ... b/c there is a huge difference between saying and doing.

Since I was on the fence for a while I was interested in your 'why', so thanks for sharing!

Why do you feel that he is not a strong enough leader?

Come on now, Obama hasn't been in long enough to become corrupt. I remind you, that President Lincoln had as much expirience as Obama has, and they both were from Illinois.
