The AIP isn't militant (although the founder could rightfully be called that). They are a legitimate political party here in Alaska who feel that we should always hold Alaska's interests first. They are a small minority here, but they actually elect candidates and participate in Alaskan government. They in no way want to "infiltrate" your government, unless you live in Alaska? They don't want anything to do with US government at all.
I think we should also get some answers about Todd Palins' involvement with the militant secessionist organization in Alaska. He only left because Sarah was going to run for office, not because he disagreed with them. Since they are married, not just acquaintances, what are her views on this organization. She gave the opening welcome speech for them just this year. She certainly is closely related to them. While she was not a member herself, living with someone who was, is of concern.
If this is to be a case of guilt by association, we have Keating, G. Gordon Liddy and that right-wing board that was funneling money to paramilitaries in Latin America to point directly toward McCain.
