Indeed. And as the National Anthem is not the pledge of allegiance, what is your point? If you (or anyone else) would like images of Obama putting his hand over his heart and reciting the pledge, feel free to check the snopes article regaring this very picture.
Point is - he was GUILTY and to this day UNREPENTANT. The question came up as to why he wasn't in jail. He isn't in jail because he couldn't be prosecuted - even though he was guilty and proud of his actions.
Personally I'm offended when I see him refuse to put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem, especially when he is running to be our PRESIDENT! It also offends me to see his friends stomp all over our flag.
Do you think it's somehow OK for someone who is applying for the job of the PRESIDENT of this country to refuse to put his hand on his heart during the national anthem? Why would it be more offensive for him to refuse to do this for the pledge? I think both are equally offensive.
He is applying for the job of the PRESIDENT of the United States. It is offensive not to put his hand over his heart during the national anthem and also a STUPID move politically. What a disrespectful idiot. It is an arrogant show of disrespect.

"No...you can say it is about honesty, but it is about guilt-by-association."
