OMG! Trying to blame the market falling on Obama...defies words!!! (shaking head and eyes rolling) I would suggest doing some reading from a non-biased source, and/or listening to news (not FOX), to find out the real reasons the market is in a free fall, and it isn't because of Obama or McCain!! There are numerous reasons the fall started, and it's continuing to fall out of fear...because people don't trust the banks!! The sky isn't falling because Obama is leading in the polls. Besides, that shows more people trust him to get us out of this mess, than they do McCain who is part of the party that has ruined this country! McCain is Bush to the enth degree, and most people have had enough of the republican party, as it is today!
Most Americans should care what caused the shambles and not hire the same people who got us into it to control what happens from here.
Exactly!!! That's why they must vote for Obama, and get rid of the greedy republicans who were in control for six of the past eight years!! I agree, we need to clean house in Congress. Get democrats and republicans
Newsflash! The former Republican controlled congress has already been replaced, by REPUBLICAN VOTERS. And President Bush isn't running this time... And OBAMA is PART OF THE PROBLEM!
I do agree with you that we need to throw out most of those who are in now - if not ALL! Starting with Barney Frank!
>>> With the economy in shambles, do you really think most Americans give a rat's behind about Ayers?
Aah...so in your mind, the only thing that's important is that the trains run on time.
>>> About Keating? About Iran Contra?
I can't see "Keating" as being a very fruitful well for Obama since McCain was completely exonerated. In fact, it would probably hurt Obama because it's such a non-issue. As for "Iran-Contra"...sorry, didn't get the connection.
>>> No,and it doesn't go to credibility!
Sure it does...who Obama chooses to ally himself with, and then lie about later, speaks volumes about his character and judgment...which all goes to his credibility.
>>> McCain has lied. So what?! That's what politicians do.
McCain hasn't lied.
>>> It's pretty petty, to be hung up on what most intelligent Americans from both parties, consider a non-issue, given the more important issues facing the world's economy.
Sounds like you and your compatriots are pretty worried about how the Ayres connection will hurt Obama...and you should be. 30% of undecideds are "less likely" to vote for Obama because of the Ayres connection...and they probably haven't met Rev. Wright yet. LOL!
>>> We may very well be headed towards another great depression, and that is much more important.
Not likely...but even with the economy as bad as it is, the last thing we need is a tax and spend Democrat running things.
People need to stop taking Ayers' comment out of context! What he actually said was, he regrets not going far enough to stop the war. That has a whole different meaning. Lot's of people felt that way about the VietNam war. Unless you were old enough to have had husband's or brother's there, you really can't appreciate the mood of the country at that time. I'm not excusing what he did, or how he feels now, but he isn't this monster conservatives are painting him to be! As for Obama not being totally honest with us, try looking at McCain. During Reagan's presidency, he was involved in funneling money to the Iran contras. One of the company's deeply involved in that scandal, was Chiquita Banana. Carl Linder was CEO at that time. Linder just held a big fund raiser for McCain, but I haven't heard McCain talking about that. I guess he's waiting for democrats to swift boat him, like he's doing to Obama.
When we were grieving the loss of thousands of innocent lives, he was lamenting on his past days of terror for crying out loud!!
To be honest, I don't know if that's even true. There's a good chance that's just rumor. I know what he said, but I don't know when he said it, or under what circumstances. I don't just blindly believe
LOL, neither I nor my "compatriots" are worried. Despite what you want to believe, many independant's see the swift boating for what it is. They are disgusted by McCain's lies and condescending demeanor.
In my mind, and the minds of most Americans, is who is going to clean up the mess left from Bush (who is still in office), and the times the republicans were in total control. They are tired of big businesses getting all the breaks, they are tired of the spend, spend, spend republicans. They are tired of the rich being given tax breaks. They are tired of republicans!!
If you don't get the Iran Contra connection, then you are missing part of McCain's past. I have already posted numerous links to his involvement. McCain doesn't lie?! LOL, you didn't bother reading the information from fact check after the debate then. I guess conservatives would prefer not finding out the truth about McCain. He HAS lied...plenty! You might want to learn about it, unless you're only interested in smearing Obama.
>>> LOL, neither I nor my "compatriots" are worried. Despite what you want to believe, many independant's see the swift boating for what it is. They are disgusted by McCain's lies and condescending demeanor.
I guess we just misunderstood the cries of "unfair! unfair! racism! racism!" LOL!
>>> In my mind, and the minds of most Americans, is who is going to clean up the mess left from Bush (who is still in office), and the times the republicans were in total control.
The Dems have been in "control" for the past two years...what have they done? And despite the propaganda that you've been fed, the Dems are the ones who blocked republican attempts to regulate Fannie and Freddie in 2003 and 2005. I hardly think that we want the clowns like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd who got us into this mess to be the ones to "clean it up."
>>> They are tired of big businesses getting all the breaks, they are tired of the spend, spend, spend republicans. They are tired of the rich being given tax breaks. They are tired of republicans!!
LOL! Tired of the "spend, spend, spend"...so the intellectuals on the left support a candidate who wants to spend, spend, spend. Good thinking...almost as good thinking as it is to screw the businesses who provide the jobs. How moronic is it to believe that TAKING money from business will encourage GROWTH!!!??? That's how it works in your household, isn't it? The less money you have, the more you spend? Sheesh!
>>> If you don't get the Iran Contra connection, then you are missing part of McCain's past. I have already posted numerous links to his involvement.
Sorry, but you'll have to elaborate on how Iran Contra casts a pall on McCain.
>>> McCain doesn't lie?! LOL, you didn't bother reading the information from fact check after the debate then.
Read a little further...Obama's lies require a whole other page. LOL! I hear they had to hook up another server just to hold them.
>>> I guess conservatives would prefer not finding out the truth about McCain. He HAS lied...plenty! You might want to learn about it, unless you're only interested in smearing Obama.
McCain has a 25 year record that you can judge him on. Obama has only been in the Senate a couple of years and already he has the most liberal voting record, nearly a BILLION in earmarks and has taken the second most from Fannie/Freddie. Quite the agent of "change." Ignore the facts if you like...but we see him for who he really is...and we're going to expose him.

These are all excellent points and good questions.
