Well, I guess CNN does stand for the Clinton News Network..but they did report that 0bama's and Ayers relationship was more than what 0bama has stated.

Exactly. Palin's own HUSBAND was a years-long member of a political party which has SECESSION as one of its prime tenets! Oh, and the PLAN for seceding? "AIP members must 'infiltrate' -- his (Dexter Carter, AIP's chair) words -- the other two parties and push for the cause of Alaskan independence." Wow. The South is gonna rise again....only this time, in the Great White North.

Here's Palin's "welcome address" to the AIP's convention FROM THIS YEAR(!). I wonder, when was the last time that a governor of any state in the union recorded a video message to address the opening of a political party convention OTHER than the one to which he or she belonged? The water is apparently a bit murky regarding Palin's participation in the AIP....but what's not at all murky is that her husband, until VERY recently (2002) was a member of the AIP.

And the witch doctor video? Must be seen to be believed. For all those people who talk about how Obama should have "just walked out" if he ever heard Wright say any of his more reprehensible comments, I wonder what they think Palin should have done about this?

I think he very well knew what Wright preached ... no way I think the only time Wright ever preached that stuff was the Sunday Obama didn't go to church.

>>Well, I guess CNN does stand for the Clinton News Network..but they did report that 0bama's and Ayers relationship was more than what 0bama has stated. FINALLY someone who is willing to dig a little deeper and show that 0bama was less than truthful about this.

So when you like the message, it's a reputable source? When you don't like the message, CNN is biased? Ridiculous.

Uh...OK: what's news here? That we didn't already know, I mean? We already knew about the Woods foundation and the Annenberg Challenge. They're nonprofit educational boards where both men crossed paths. This story has been out there since....Lord, I don't even know, but months, at least. They've got video of Obama fielding a debate question on the matter back in February of this year, for crying out loud.

And I disagree that the "a guy who lives in my neighborhood who I've served on a board with" is such a horribly misleading answer. That IS about all the interaction - on any meaningful level - the two have had. You circulate in a town's political circles (or its music circles, or its fashion circles) long enough, at a high enough level, you meet the same people over and over again....and often, you work alongside them, whether you agree with everything they've ever done in their lives, or not. NOTHING in any of the connections between Obama and Ayers has anything to do with anything even REMOTELY "shady," and Ayers himself has been a harmless academic for more than twenty five years. Heck, the man was GIVEN THE "#1 CITIZEN AWARD" (or whatever it was) 10 years ago. They don't often do that to terrorists, even in Chicago, LOL.
