Well, I guess CNN does stand for the Clinton News Network..but they did report that 0bama's and Ayers relationship was more than what 0bama has stated.

Thank you for not dragging me through the fire, sandy. I appreciate your measured response to my comments.

I try very hard to debate respectfully

>>or perhaps it is b/c he was associated with Ayers and not b/c of the color of his skin?

Of course that's true. But I think the connection serves another purpose for Palin. I think that if Biden had the Ayers connection, it wouldn't play as well in Palin rallies. There's not fear that Biden is Muslim. KWIM?

maybe b/c the muslim thing never really 'got me' I don't make that connection .. I dunno.

>>I mean it in terms of do you think she would have made the accusatin AT all if he hadn't known Ayers .. meaning would she have said it had it been just the color of his skin and muslim accusations.

That's a good point. All I'm saying is that the Ayers connection is a convenient way to underscore bigotry that some Republicans (a small minority, I think and hope) feel towards Obama.

>>Oh and actually Obama brought up Keating 5 back in May.

Well you got me there. You have to admit that both sides have ramped up their attacks on both of these issues. If Obama brought it up in May and then it wasn't mentioned again until now, I don't think you (general you) can say that he was *using* the Keating 5 against McCain. The same goes for Palin (and McCain) with regards to the Ayers connection. Right?

Clearly Obama was ready to roll with the Keating Web site. (Nothing like that is done in a day.)

>>However 3 out of the 4 DEMOCRATIC Senator were found to have had substantially and improperly interfered with the FHLBB in its investigation of Lincoln Savings, with Cranston receiving a formal reprimand.

You keep mentioning that. You're awfully partisan, aren't you?
