Well, I guess CNN does stand for the Clinton News Network..but they did report that 0bama's and Ayers relationship was more than what 0bama has stated.

>>> Todd Palin registered in October 1995 to the Alaska Independence Party, a radical group that advocates for Alaskan secession from the United States. Besides a short period of a few months in 2000 when he changed his registration to undeclared, Todd Palin remained a registered member of AIP until July 2002 when he registered again as an undeclared voter. So it has been more than 6 years since his registration with the group was valid.

Actually, there's nothing on the AIP website that advocates secession. What it seems they really want is to vote on the status of Alaska.

And also from the AIP website..."Todd Palin was registered as a member but never participated in any party activities aside from attending a convention in Wasilla at one time."

>>> The same S&L issue that John McCain was cleared of having acted improperly but were criticized for having exercised "poor judgment". However 3 out of the 4 DEMOCRATIC Senator were found to have had substantially and improperly interfered with the FHLBB in its investigation of Lincoln Savings, with Cranston receiving a formal reprimand.

Exactly right...attack McCain on an issue in which he was exonerated and 3 Dems were found...by other Dems...to be corrupt. That's a fight I think McCain would relish.

One of those fact checkers said that Palin's statement about Obama pallin' around with Ayers, is an outright lie. Obama's record is clean. So, take-up all issues about Ayers with the Univ. of Illinois and the mayor of Chicago.

And, at the risk of sounding like the paranoid GOP (lol), I saw Drew Griffin make that false claim, and when questioned by Anderson further, he finally admitted that this "relationship" was more professional, since Obama and Ayers happen to work on the education boards and at the Univ of Illinois, and the newspaper article about it said so.

Palin's record is tarnishing and looking worse by the day. I will take Obama's word over Palin's anyday. Lying is easy for Palin. Obviously, this CNN contributor has his own agenda, too, but Anderson saw right through it. Griffin graduated from Univ. of Illinois, too, but only with a B.S. (obviously, lol. as opposed to a B.A.) in journalism. That CNN contributor needs to be working at FOX Noise, since he has lost all objectivity about the campaign.

I did find it interesting that CNN described the educational projects as "radical" in some ways. I thought they were perfectly reasonable!

I thought it strange too. I got the feeling, they were trying to make it sound like a "cotcha". I also think Obama downplayed it, knowing how the conservatives would run with it, giving it a life of it's own. Just goes to show, it's always best to be upfront with anything that might come back to bite you in the butt! Obama's only "wrong doing", was not getting everything out in the open. I'm also sure there are more than a few skeleton's in McCain's closet too. BUT!!! Who cares?! Tell me about the issues. Tell me if your plans will help me, or hurt me. KWIM? McCain's will definitely hurt me..in more than one area!

Obama's past is shrouded in secrecy and the press has cooperated hiding the truth about Obama and his alliances.

Oh, pulease! the Middle Class has suffered the last 8 years under Bush! McCain can say he will be different, but it will be the same ole same old malarkey. I don't want my Dh to have to pay tax on his lousy Health ins.
